Playstation 3 Recent & Upcoming Games (Free Choice)

In this post I will be updating any of you Playstation fans with news from recent and upcoming games. If I get comfortable enough with these types of posts, I may be doing it monthly. Also, this is mainly going to be Playstation 3 news, although I might go in to Playstation Vita or Playstation 4 titles that are worth mentioning.

First, let's start off with a new Assassin's Creed game! The historical stealth action game's developer and publisher, Ubisoft, is going to release another game in the series. This time around, as compared to last year's Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, there are going to be two separate games for current-gen (PS3, Xbox 360) and next-gen (PS4, Xbox One) instead of a multi-gen game like Black Flag. The game for the current generation will be called Assassin's Creed: Comet. The game for the next generation will be called Assassin's Creed: Unity. The reason for this is to take advantage of each device's processing power to the max potential.

Next, There is a new Borderlands game as well that was just announced! This game is going to be called Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! As stated, it is not Borderlands 3, it is not even going to be developed by the same studio, Gearbox, that developed the earlier games. It is going to be produced by 2K Australia, a company owned by the publisher, 2K Games. The other big news about this game is that it takes place in space!

My Favorite Hobby

As I posted previously, my four favorite hobbies are listening to Electronic Dance Music, attending EDM events and festivals, playing video games and going out with my friends. Out of those four things, my favorite is probably listening to Electronic Dance Music.

Electronic Dance Music has a lot of different sub-genres, for a lot of different times and moods. I usually listen to the more energetic kind of EDM, like Dada Life or Wolfgang Gartner, when I'm working out or riding my bike somewhere. On the other hand, I like more "mellow" stuff like artists Kaskade or Above & Beyond when I am about to go to sleep or when I just want to relax.

This is my favorite hobby because I can mostly listen to music anywhere and anytime. I can listen to music even when I'm at school (in some classes) and on my way to school and back from school. When I had an Xbox 360, one feature I really liked (and miss) is the ability to listen to music while I was playing any game. I just connected my iPod and I was ready to go. So, as you can see listening to music is my favorite hobby.

About Me

Hi! My name is George Martinez. I am a resident of Costa Mesa, California. I am currently 18 years old and I also attend Back Bay High School which I am a senior. My favorite things to do in my past time are listening to Electronic Dance Music (EDM), attending EDM events and festivals, going out with my friends, and playing video games. My favorite "sport" is probably weight-lifting. I was never really into other sports too much. I joined the school football team at my old school, Estancia, but I quickly got over it. I just like pumping raw iron!

I went to a massive festival in 2010; over 200,000 people attended! I was 14 then, and I really didn't know what it was. The festival I attended was the Electric Daisy Carnival also known as EDC. I found out there that I really liked the music and the whole community there was amazing! That is how I discovered EDM and got into it.

I started gaming as a little kid, I'd say around 5 or 6. My mother and father bought me a Nintendo 64 for christmas. I started out playing Mario Kart and games like that, but as I got older I started playing games such as Need For Speed. I got a PlayStation One and was playing some star wars games here and there, but I really started playing when I got my PlayStation 2.

I started weight lifting when I was in middle school because there was a "Fitness Center" in the school. I was really enjoying it, until it got shut down. Then in high school, there was a "Weight Training" class, which was pretty much weight-lifting. I got into and was really enjoying it but then I got transferred out. I currently attend a "free" gym. It's not technically free, but it is a fitness center for the apartments my friend lives in.
